Anyone who has known Austin over the years will tell you that Downtown Austin and Downtown Austin real estate has changed enormously: more amenities, more people, more luxury Downtown Austin residences.
Starting with the conversion of the historic Brown Building to condominiums in 1998, we’ve seen a trend toward new condominiums downtown – both building conversions and new construction. With that, we’ve seen increased amenities for those living downtown and more building.
In addition to restaurants, bars and coffee shops, now there are more markets, stores, doctors offices and services. Some downtown dwellers wonder if they still need their car!
