Milago Condominium
It’s not easy to find right-on-the-Hike & Bike Trail Downtown Austin real estate. So the Milago took full advantage of its waterfront location on a bend in Lady Bird Lake. Completed in 2006 with 240 units, it was sold out well before completion.
The name Milago even references this – it is a play on the Spanish mi lago which means my lake.
The Milago stands 12 stories plus a penthouse high and is topped off with a large rooftop deck. Not only does the deck have views for miles around (which can be a great place to watch Austin’s bats take flight at dusk), it has a pool, jacuzzi and cooking area.
Floor plans vary from one to three bedrooms.
The Milago has beautiful views of the lake on the west side and north/south ends of the building. Lower down, the views will be blocked by green trees in the summer. Starting on the sixth floor, the views are locked in year round.
