Spring Condominium is well-positioned at the corner of Bowie St (the street that runs along the back side of Whole Foods Market) and 3rd St (just north of the train tracks). With easy access to Whole Foods and Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail and views in all directions, Spring is known to have one of the best Downtown Austin condo locations.
Spring: Austin’s First Point Tower
Spring is the first point tower in Downtown Austin. (While I can’t seem to locate a truly technical definition of what a point tower is, my understanding, which was confirmed by the Spring sales staff, is that it means the building sits on a small footprint with a certain height to gross area ratio and that all the units sit around a central core and elevator bank.) One of the things this means is that each floor has a small number of units, providing for more intimacy on each floor.
Spring Building Set-up
As you can make out from the exterior, units in two, opposite corners of the building will have floor to ceiling windows. For people who fear being surrounded with views like that, the other two corners are insulated by more concrete.
Spring Condos Amenities
Spring Condominiums, which opened in fall 2009, has a 24/7 lobby assistant and pool. First floor commercial spaces will provide for additional amenities once they’re filled.
