Cobra Studio – Urban Industrial Loft Style
Completed in early 2009, the style of the Cobra Studios is urban industrial. Cinder block walls, metal ceilings and trusses and industrial window systems all give it that urban industrial feel. All units are first floor units with access out the front and back. Did I mention that they used industrial, glass garage doors for windows opening up into the community courtyard? Your guests will love that. And the courtyard is nice and big with numerous trees.
Cobra Studios – Floor Plans
The units are big open spaces. No interior walls gives residents the choice for how they want to use the space. In the floor plans, areas were described as “front”, “center” and “back”. The center is where you’ll find the bathroom and kitchen which separates the front and back spaces. Someone could, for example, have a studio space up front and have their bed in back behind a curtain so no visitors would see.

The Cobra Studios are east of Airport Boulevard south of Bolm Road. The address is 902 Gardner Road in 78721. It’s a commercial-feeling location but the community itself is charming. And it’s just slightly over 4 miles to Downtown Austin.
