For those of you that don’t know, Zero Net Energy is huge. Not only are these homes energy-efficient, but they’re designed to create enough energy on their own that their energy use is net zero. I.e. they’re designed to be energy-efficient enough and to create enough energy not to take energy from the grid.

In East Austin just north of Bolm Road between Ed Bluestein and Airport Boulevard, SOL is about 4 miles from Downtown Austin. There’s a community park in the middle of the development that owners enjoy.
