Barton Place will be completed by 2011. Now, in the fall of 2010, residents have started moving in. Barton Place is a six-story condominium development. Six buildings will include 270 condos at 1600 Barton Springs in 78704.
Barton Place Condo Units
Floor plans, ranging from one bedrooms to three bedrooms, make great use of space. Large, in many cases floor-to-ceiling windows, let in lovely light. Living areas have lovely hard woods and the bedrooms a nice low pile carpeting. The Travertine used for the standard kitchen back splash and bathroom tile has a marble-like sophistication to it. These condos look good!

Barton Place Condos Amenities
Since Barton Place is designed as six buildings with courtyards between them, lots of outdoor space has been incorporated into the design. There are outdoor sitting areas, an outdoor garden, a rooftop deck and an outdoor swimming pool. Barton Place will also have a fitness center, community entertainment area and guest accommodations. While there isn’t a front lobby, there will be a security detail at the garage entrance, which leads underneath the buildings.
Barton Place Location
Barton Place has a great location! It’s tucked away behind Austin Java and Uncle Billy’s at 1600 Barton Springs Road. In fact, guests will share parking with these two establishments. Nearby are numerous other restaurants. Perhaps more importantly, a trail has been created, connecting Barton Place to the Hike & Bike Trail. Additionally, the S Lamar and Pfluger Pedestrian Bridges provide residents easy access to Downtown Austin.
